Do I need a noise suppressor?

I have a Boss DS-1 distortion, a Dunlop jimi Hendrix Wah, and a TU-3 Chromatic Tuner. I am going to get a Boss Metal Zone really soon. I am going to be playing a small show in January which I have never really done before so I am wondering if I need to buy some sort of noise supression pedal just in case to silence any hum. I have a VOX VT-100 amp and it usually doesn't give very much feedback at all, but I am just wondering because I'm not sure if the metal zone will cause any unwanted sound.
