Help on how to work out percentage?

The term "Percentage" means of a hundred, (100). Therefore any "whole" amount will become 100%. Example a full bag of sugar, say, will be 100% full, if it is half full it will be 50% full and so on. Now, Our bag of sugar Called (Donna), weighs 51.5 kg, so what we do now is divide 51.5 by 100 to find what 1% weighs, Take 8 1/2 away from, !00 - 8.5 (8 1/2 %) = 91.5. So now we have 91 and a half times the weight of 1%. Similarly three and 2 and a half% will become clear. Percentages are easy really. Always remember the WHOLE amount of whatever is 100%, Half is 50% a quarter is 25% a fifth is 20% a tenth is 10% and so on.
