Scarves. Are they year round appropiate?

.? I've noticed they have alot of diff. Textures.colors.etc and I was wonder. Are like the thinner more vibrant like looking ones for spring/summer.? I stay in louisiana btw: I've never really seen it that much down here during those times. Maybe it has something to do with it actually beeing cooler upstates. ?
