Why is Stuart Clark 12th man when Johnson is bowling like a division 3 bowler?

I reckon Clarke must be in the next Test, he has a county game coming up to prove his fitness and if he come thru that OK he should be staight in, if we lose this Test I don't know if we can carry Johnson any more.
