Can I safely browse myspace without getting virus's/spyware/trojans?

I just got a new laptop and I don't want it to go through the same fate as my other computers. I have Adaware, ZoneAlarm, and NOD32, all excellent programs I found out about after doing plenty of research. I have a myspace account, and I do get adds from those bots, however I don't add them (who doesnt get adds from them now?) Basically, I'm wondering if i can still browse users, comment my friends, and check out music without having to worry about infecting my computer.
